The past several years have witnessed a not uncommon phenomenon that students humiliate their teacher at school sometimes. Especially the adolescents, even abuse their teacher in public, ignoring the fact that this behavior may be detrimental to the development of their personality and cause moral or legal consequence.

Three reasons, to my knowledge, account for this social issue. The most important factors should be the lacking of moral education, which is indispensable to students. Nowadays, we put more emphasis on cultural education than moral education. Then student should perform something disallowed by morality. From another perspective, parents also have inescapable responsibilities for the problem. It is unshakable duty for parents to raise and protect their child. However, some parents dote on them, not letting any mistreating occur on their baby. Thus, they may humiliate their teacher once they think they are mistreated by their teacher. In addition, teachers’ inappropriate communication methods may give rise to the conflict more or less.

The problem mentioned above will bound to generate severe consequences if we keep turning a blind eye and deaf ear to it. Parents, together with teachers should make joint efforts to teach students rationally. And teachers should enhance mutual understanding with students.
